About Jessica Rose

Jessica Rose Born 1976 in France, Jessica took interest in photography 10 years ago while working in a photo lab. She learned and experienced the technical aspects of photography with an old manual camera, and began processing black and white pictures at home.

What she likes in photography is the power of stolen images, fleeting moments, the truthfulness of natural portraits and the emotion captured by her camera. She relies on her feelings, on the magic of moments, people, places to take her pictures.

She's been living in Asia the past 8 years, held an exhibition in Thailand in 2008, "Away", pictures brought back from her travels. As a free lance, she worked for an International School, covering concerts, plays, sports days, yearbooks..,for an Industrial Company, creating motivation posters based on pictures of men at work, installations and processes, and also for families, proposing birth cards, family portraits,...

She's now based in Ontario, Canada and is working on new projects..
